# A4 Poster Maker

> A free, ad-free web tool that turns any picture into a big poster printed on ordinary A4 (or US Letter / A3) paper. It splits the image into numbered sheets with overlap, trim marks and an assembly guide, and exports one multi-page PDF. Everything runs in the user's browser; images are never uploaded.

## What it does
- Input: a JPG, PNG or WebP image.
- Settings: paper size (A4, Letter, A3), sheet orientation, number of sheets across and down, overlap (0-20 mm), fit (fill or whole picture), print quality (150/200/300 dpi).
- Output: a PDF with one sheet per page plus an optional assembly guide page. Print at 100% scale, trim the marked overlap strips, tape sheets together.
- Cost: free. No sign-up, no watermark, no ads. Optional donations.
- Privacy: client-side processing only.

## Quick facts
- 3 x 3 portrait A4 sheets with 8 mm overlap make a poster of about 61.4 x 87.5 cm (24.2 x 34.4 in).
- 4 x 4 sheets make about 81.6 x 116.4 cm. 2 x 2 sheets make about 41.2 x 58.6 cm.
- Recommended minimum image resolution: about 100 pixels per inch of the finished poster.
